Make your way through the Elizabeth City Sipping Trail with your trusty passport in hand to earn a special souvenir cup and your chance at a grand prize! Elizabeth City is full of delicious unique drinks for any time of day. Bring your passport along on a solo sipping excursion or bring your friends along with you! To hop on the trail, you can download your own passport here or pick up a hard copy at any of the participating venues, the Welcome Center, or the information kiosk at Mariners’ Wharf Park. When you visit a venue, just ask a staff member to stamp your Sipping EC passport. No purchase is necessary, but you’d be missing out if you didn’t try at least one drink at each establishment along the way. Red, white, pilsner, IPA, latte, smoothie…the delicious options are endless! When you visit each participating Elizabeth City drinkery you’ll need to get your passport stamped for a grand total of eight stamps. Once you’ve gone to all eight establishments, you can collect your souvenir cup and turn in your passport for the chance to win a grand prize with goodies from every featured Sipping venue! Participation is easy, just follow these quick steps: Pick up your passport at any participating location, the Welcome Center, or the information kiosk at Mariners’ Wharf Park or you can download it here Journey through town visiting each participating drinkery and collect stamps on your passport along the way Once you’ve collected all eight stamps, you’re ready to redeem your awesome Sipping Elizabeth City souvenir cup (and of course bragging rights!) Visit Elizabeth City does not provide Sipping EC Trail Passport stamps. We do provide fun and timely information about visiting our destination! Is there a deadline to turn in a Sipping EC Trail Passport? Please plan to complete the trail by December 31, 2022 and redeem your passport by January 7, 2023. Remember, prizes are while supplies last. Can I redeem my Sipping EC Trail Passport and receive my prize by mail? Unfortunately, no, you must collect prizes in person at the Welcome Center Monday-Saturday or Muddy Waters Coffeehouse on Sundays only. How do I win the Grand Prize? One winner will be randomly selected from all correctly submitted entries. To enter, you must turn in your completed passport by January 7, 2023 and provide your name, phone number and email address using the form on the back of the passport. Many of our trail venues are within walking distance of each other in our very walkable Downtown so you can burn some calories between stops!
