Opened in 1982, K.E. White Graduate Center is located east of Elizabeth City State University’s main campus on Weeksville Road. The building offers the space and services necessary to create a favorable atmosphere to host weddings and wedding receptions. Also available for rental are side rooms to hold members of the wedding party. There is ample parking for several hundred vehicles. Our venue service is for indoors, where we provide tables & chairs, microphone, projector & screen, and stage or riser. An approved list is on our website and gets updated when documents are received. Alcohol/liquor: Alcohol is allowed if approved by the Office of the Chancellor. ABC permit, as well as insurance coverage, will be required. Available Spaces and Capacities: At 85% capacity: Full ballroom – 382 people Half ballroom – 170 people Quarter ballroom – 102 people Side rooms (Room 107, Room 114 & Room 130) can be used as holding space for the wedding party.
